The Plans We Made – Book Review

The Plans We Made Book Review

Plans and secrets. We all have some of that in our lives. What if the secrets were so deep? What if the plans required that the secret be revealed. That is what is happening in Linda’s life. She has held the secret for years. Now things have changed and she finds that because of the change of plans she might need to reveal the secret.

I could relate to Linda. I have plans and my plans have not always gone the way I planned. She is a mother who loves her boys. She is wrestling with what to do and what this will do to her family.

I admire Caroline for moving across the country not knowing anyone there. I love the twist with her relationship with Chris. It has its twists and turns. I would love to hear the next bit of that story.

I will say that when I began reading the book I did not realise it was a story about cancer. There I spoiled that detail for you. I almost stopped reading because at this time that is a difficult topic for me. I am glad that I stuck with the book and finished it. It was an excellent book.

I do recommend this book if you are looking for a new book to read this winter.
