Verses on Being Intentional
Living intentional means that we know what we are to be doing and we strive to do it. The foundation for flourishing intentional living must be God and the Bible. Any other foundation will not be able to withstand the storms and whims of life. As we consider that foundation, here are 12 verses that will help you to know what it means to be intentional.

Do you see the action words in these verses? Words like trust, seek, press on, hear, love, go, and the list goes on. These are things that we need to be doing. Intentional Living requires action. The action needs to be in the correct direction.
These verses are a challenge and encouragement to me as I think about what it means to be intentional. As I look through this list, the one that speaks to me at this time is “Seek first the kingdom of God.” I need to be seeking God and his ways in all my living. That might change how I use my time, or spend my money.
What are is God calling you to be intentional in? Is there a verse that speaks that to you? Leave a message in the comments.
