Ephesians Colouring Pages
My daughter came to me yesterday and said, “I want an Ephesians Colouring Book.” She has a Psalms Colouring Book and assumed that there was one for every book of the Bible. The current sermon series at church has been from Ephesians. She has been reviewing this with her small group. She loves colouring and I figured this is a great way for her to get the Word deeper. So, I created Ephesians Colouring Pages.
Just like we are in a lockdown at this time. Paul was in a lockdown or maybe we should say locked in prison. Yet, from prison he writes to those at Ephesus encouraging them. Paul wrote so they could know how he was doing and that he might encourage them.
“So that you also may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord will tell you everything. I have sent him to you for this purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts.” Ephesians 6:21-22
Paul is in prison, alone with companions who come and visit. As you read through Ephesians, you will see that Paul’s focus is not where he is and how difficult things are for him but rather to praise God. That is a lesson for us at this time.
Ephesians is full of deep truths and beautiful words. As we have been discussing this in small groups, I have seen the descriptive words that Paul uses.
- “he lavished upon us” Ephesians 1:8
- “the riches of his glorious inheritance” Ephesians 1:18
- “But God, being rich in mercy,” Ephesians 2:4
- “to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ” Ephesians 3:8
- “and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:19
- “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,” Ephesians 4:12
- “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.” Ephesians 5:1
- “Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 6:23
I have enjoyed our study, digging deep into all that Paul has written to the believers at Ephesus.
As we life during a difficult year, let us learn to know God more and praise him more. Remember the blessings that God has lavished on us.
Well, since my daughter asked for colouring pages. I went through Ephesians and picked up a number of verses and created colouring pages for her. I want to share these with you as well. There are 19 pages to colour.
Here is the link to the file. Download it now. It is only available for the next 30 days.
Please share this blog post so that others can enjoy these pages as well. Please do not forward the link but refer friends to the As He Leads is Joy.
What is your favourite verse from Ephesians? Leave a comment and see if it is included in the colouring pages.

These are wonderful! Thank you for sharing them. Ephesians is hard to pick a favorite from! Chapter 3 verses 16-21 are probably my favorites if I have to choose. 😊
I’ve been trying to decide whether to study Colossians or Ephesians when I finish James. These may have decided me! 😊
I am thrilled I could share this with you. I did include Chapter 3:16-17 – just limited to how much I could include on the page. I can send you a link to our services if you want to hear those sermons on Ephesians.
Love this! I’m studying Ephesians right now!
Glad that this is helpful.
What a great idea!
Thanks, I had fun putting this together.
This is great! Thanks for sharing
My favourite is Eph 2:8
I am glad you can use them and enjoy them. Eph 2:8 is included.
These coloring pages are beautiful! I was drawn to your article because I recently wrote a study on Ephesians. There are so many powerful truths in Ephesians!
I have one for Proverbs, I don’t know where you are but Ollie’s stores sometimes has them for about $3 I made some coloring pages myself, too. How wonderful your daughter is so interested.
Thanks for the suggestion – we are in the UK so no Ollie’s here.
I am glad this is helpful.
Great looking coloring pages, and I love the lockdown connection too. I think that makes them even more meaningful. Thank you for sharing these!
I am glad they are helpful.
