What to Expect on As He Leads is Joy in 2021
What to Expect on As He Leads is Joy in 2021.
As I look back on 2020, the one big lesson that I learned yet again was that God is in control of the plans of my life. I need to continually look to him for direction and that includes my blog. I have been thinking and praying about what God wants me do write about this year. It is all subject to his leading and guiding. I will continue to trust him. So What to Expect on As He Leads is Joy in 2021?
At the beginning of 2019 I wrote this post about 3 Things to Know about this blog. The three things were biblical, authentic, and encouraging. You can read the post to see exactly what I desire. Those three things continue to be the core of my writing and who I am. I want to be biblical based, authentic showing the real me, and encouraging.
Here are some of the topics that I will be writing about in 2021:
What to Expect on As He Leads is Joy in 2021
Wise Living – This series began in November 2020. There are a few more topics to discuss so we continue with that series.
My Story – This is a new topic that I want explore a bit. I enjoy posting photos on instagram, sharing throughs on Facebook but at the same time I don’t like spending that much time on social media. I want to use this topic to just share a bit of my life. It might be stories from the past or current. Experiences or just live as I life it. I would love to hear what you would like to know about me.
Prayer – This is a topic that I want to continue to write about. I want to encourage myself and each of us to be praying.
Books I have Read – I began a series, Growing Through Reading, and will continue to add to that series. I normally share an update of what I have read each month. I will also share book reviews of individual books I have read.
Special Needs – This is a topic that I live with each day. I will share the struggles and the joys, the ways I see God working in and through those with special needs.
Learning to Be – This is a topic that has been on my heart for the past few years. I had planned to dig into this in 2020 but that was not what God planned. I am trusting that 2021 is the year for this topic. I have watched myself and others write goals and then totally fail in those goals. We have good intentional, routines, plans but we still fail. As I reflected deeper on what was happening, I began to wonder if our focus was in the wrong place. We were focusing on doing and being productive.
We will begin in January with the topic of Be Ready. I am excited for what God is going to be teaching me and looking forward to sharing that with you.
Resources – I am hoping to be able to provide you will more resources to encourage you to grow in knowing God. I am thinking of 3 or 5 days Bible study on a topic or passage. I might have some workbooks to help you learn and grow. Let me know what would help you. Some of these will be in the Subscriber’s Resources. I do hope at some point in time to have resources to sell.
No ads – I hate scrolling through an article or blog post and it seems like every paragraph has an ad. I have made a decision not to have ads on my blog. That means that at this time my blog costs me and doesn’t make money. I am doing that for you, my readers. I don’t like ads and I am guessing that you don’t like it either.
I don’t know about you but as I read through What to Expect on As He Leads is Joy in 2021, I am excited and looking forward to all God has for me and you in the coming year.
What are you looking forward to on this list of expectations? Leave me a comment below.
